Virginia Ann (Anne) Smith, 64, died July 28, 1998 at a local hospital. She was a retired care giver. Mrs. Smith was born 4 Nov 1933, in La Junta CO to Hugh D. Walker, Jr. and Helen Hazel (Berry) Walker. Her two sisters Carol, Helen, as well as her father, preceded her in death.
Survivors are: her mother, brother, two children, three grandsons and one great-granddaughter. No services are planned. Her ashes will be buried in the "America the Beautiful" Rose Garden at the Shrine of Remembrance and Mausoleum, in Colorado Springs, CO.
