Col. Phillip Wheeler died at 66 years of age and is buried next to his wife whose stone is unreadable. There may be a record of her stone in the library. His stone is next to an old eastern red cedar tree which may be the most gnarly cedar ever! It is pictured on the right. Col. Wheeler may have taken part in the French and Indian War.
