She was born November 21, 1947 in Pekin to Fred and Claudine Azbell Gathmann. She married Douglas Cunningham on November 26, 1965 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Topeka, and he survives.
Also surviving are her children, Keith (Cynthia) Cunningham of St. Joseph, IL, Kelly (Bill) Link of Pekin, Shane (Lisa) Cunningham of Bloomington, and Travis (Ashley) Cunningham of Normal; 11 grandchildren, Katie, Jace, Kerrigan, Andrea, Ben, Soffie, Andy, Tyler, Hannah, Allie, and Ethan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Glen and Gerald; and one sister, Gladys.
Gloria was a homemaker and a babysitter.
She was a devoted wife, mother, believer, and a faithful servant of the Lord. She was a 51-year member of Christ Lutheran Church in Delavan and its Ladies Aide and taught Sunday school.
She enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and liked to spend time at their school and sporting events. She loved sewing, especially for preemies, and loved her pets. She volunteered at the Monday night meals in Delavan. Her favorite time of year was October and Cousin Weekend.
Burial will be in Prairie Rest Cemetery in Delavan.
