She was united in marriage to Sylvester Hess June 7, 1976, in Bland.
Sharon was a member of Greentown Lighthouse Church Thayer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Irma; husband, Sylvester; and brothers, Dale and Allen Richardson.
She is survived by her sister, Diane Bock and husband Ken of Cave Creek, Ariz.; nephew, Adam Bock and wife Samantha of Laveen, Ariz.; and niece, Lezlie Macchiaroli and husband Dominic of Mesa, Ariz.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 19 at 10:00 a.m. at Countryside Memorial Gardens in Owensville with Pastor Les Dority officiating.
