Susie Brandt Holley, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to so many, passed away on May 15, 2021. She was born in Tyler on October 13, 1957 to Theodore and Mary (Chandler) Brandt. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Susie graduated from White House High School in 1976. She married Ronnie Holley, the love of her life, on May 7, 1976.
She was an executive assistant at Lon Morris College from 2004-2013 where she earned her diploma and graduated Summa Cum Laude. She was affectionately known as "office mom" at her last job as a customer service specialist. She was a hard worker and dedicated to everything she did.
Her true love in life was her family. She loved spending every chance she could with those she loved and doting on her grandkids, who affectionately called her Nana. She loved being outdoors and taking care of her adored animals. Susie never met a stranger and loved learning about and talking with new people. She had a passion for traveling, seeing new things, and having new adventures.
Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 45 years, Ronnie Holley; daughters Amanda Holley of Tyler, Ashley Burkett and husband Justin of Tyler, and Leanne Atwood and husband Billy of Harker Heights Texas. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Emma, Mark, and Kenneth; and her sister Vicki Long and husband Mutt of Palm Coast, Florida.
Services will be held at Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville, Texas on Friday, May 21, 2021. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. and the service will follow at 2 p.m.
