William Manion, 69, a farmer of Rt. 1, Clarkson died May 29, 1984 at Nortons-Children Hospital, Louisville. He was born December 29, 1914 in Grayson County, the son of Wash Manion and Ollie Richardson Manion Joyce. He was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. / Survivors include his wife Temple Puckett Manion of Rt. 1, Clarkson; one son Dale Manion of Rt. 1, Clarkson; three daughters Vinetta Davis of Rt. 1, Clarkson, Shirley Willis of Leitchfield and Patty Powell of Clarkson; two brothers Hubert Manion and Harold Manion both of Clarkson; five sisters Velma Williams of Sonora, Amy Horn of Glendale, Ona Clemons and Mary Carby both of Clarkson and Ellen Jarboe of Cecilia; and 10 grandchildren. / Funeral services were held June 1, 1984 at the Oak Grove Baptist Church by the Rev. Carman Cann and Rev. Willard Saltsman with interment in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
