Mrs. Anna L. Robinson Abernathy, age 94, of Adairsville passed away peacefully Friday, May 14, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Atlanta, Georgia, June 6, 1926, daughter of the late William A. Pye and Myrtle Holmes Pye. She was oldest member of Oothcalooga Baptist Church. Along with her husband Gene, they were poultry farmers for over 30 years. She enjoyed trips to the mountains, vegetable and flower gardening, dancing, and holidays spent with her family. She was a loving Momma, Mawmaw, sister, and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and father of her children, Gene Robinson; grandson, Lance Robinson; brothers, William Pye and Gene Pye; sister, Jewell Pye and Elizabeth Batts; and second husband, John Abernathy.

Survivors include her children, Billy and Sharon Robinson, Bobby Robinson, Randy and Teresa Robinson, and Dolores and Jeff Gulledge; grandchildren, Kelley(Michael) Waddell, Kerri(Charlie) Willis, Kathy Robinson, Jamie(Stewart) Mealor, Raime(Brian) Wilson, Cortney(Jordan) Ford, and Ramzey Gulledge; great-grandchildren, Katelyn(Johnny) Payne, Seth(Keisha) Waddell, Sarah Willis, Hannah Willis, Bailey (Colin Commo) Robinson, Cali(Logan Hollaran) Mealor, Caleb Mealor, and Jed Wilson; great great-grandchildren, River Payne and Lilli and Oliver Waddell' brother, Edward Pye and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 17, 2021, at 1:00 PM at Oothcalooga Baptist Church, Adairsville with Reverends Gary Hibberts, Steve Morrow, and Ronnie Cowart officiating. Interment will follow at Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville. Pallbearers include Ronnie Smith, Weldon Smith, Tommy Batts, Michael Waddell, Charlie Willis, Stewart Mealor, Brian Wilson, and Jordan Ford.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Oothcalooga Baptist Church.
