Iva May Cox passed away on May 15, 2021 in Austin, TX.

Services will be held Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in the Memory Gardens Mausoleum with Pastor Kalob Cox, officiating. Entombment will follow under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Iva was born August 31, 1933 and grew up in McLean, Texas. She had been a long-time resident of Pampa prior to moving to Austin. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Pampa for many years.

She is survived by her daughter, Becky Bennett of Smithville, TX; two sons, Bill Cox of Smithville, TX and Louis Cox of Magnolia, TX; two brothers, James Adams of Elk City, OK and Earston Adams and wife Carol of Wichita Falls, TX; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

Iva loved animals and had one or more pets at any given time. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the ASPCA or your local animal shelter.
