Funeral Services for David K. Paul will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 15, 2021 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Pineville, Louisiana with Reverend Andrew Orr officiating.
Interment will be held at Paul Cemetery in Deville, Louisiana.
The family requests visitation be held Friday, May 14, 2021 at Hixson Brothers in Pineville from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and resume Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until shortly before funeral service time.
Mr. Paul, 52, of Deville, passed from this life on Friday, May 7, 2021.
After years in the restaurant business, David was finally able to pursue his life-long dream of opening and owning a firearm business in October of 2018, Liberty Arsenal. He made the shop a place for everyone to feel welcome, from his "Buckeye Boys" to the older gentleman who made Liberty Arsenal their second home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester Wayne Paul, Sr. and Florence Elizabeth Paul; two brothers, Lester Wayne Paul, Jr. and Lester Morgan Paul.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Rebecca Lynn (Rush) Paul; one daughter, Ashley Elizabeth Paul; one step-son, Charlie Hayes (Lisa); two brothers, Michael Paul, Steven Paul; one sister, Mary Treadway (Jon); one half-sister, Cheyanne Prock (Bob); two step-grandchildren, Vivian Hayes and Kai Hayes and a host of other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Paul, Steve Paul, Kenneth Paul, Nick Treadway, Joey Mafouz, Paul Norris, Chris Griffin and Jonathan Myers.
