Curtis Dean "Curt" Williams, age 72 of Harrisburg, passed away at 2:31 PM, Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
Curt was born on July 6, 1948 in Harrisburg, to the late Ancil Curtis and Bertha Mae (Pilkington) Williams.
He married Marilyn Kay Blackman on October 15, 1966 and she preceded him in death on June 14, 2000.
Curt was a master of his trade and owned and operated Williams Painting for over 55 years, a family owned business in Harrisburg for over 75 years. Curt when he was younger was an avid boater; more recently he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing guitar and spending time with his grandchildren. He was an amazing man who loved to help people.
Curt is survived by three daughter, Cindy of Harrisburg, Jessica and husband Kyle of West Frankfort, and LaDonna and husband William of Galatia;
ten grandchildren;
three great grandchildren,
sister, Donna of Harrisburg; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his wife, Kay, and parents, Curt was preceded in death by two grandsons, Garet Williams, and Jerod Field, and a great grandson, Jordyn Pyle.
Funeral services for Curtis Dean "Curt" Williams will be held at 1 PM, Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg.
Burial will follow in Sunset Lawn Cemetery.
