Linda enjoyed knitting, crocheting, crafts and other fair projects for the Altamont Fair, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a sewing machine operator for the Northeastern Association for the Blind, were she taught the blind patients to sew.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Walter B. Koons Jr., her sons; Walter (Amy) Koons III, Wayne Koons, William Koons, Wallace (Tina) Koons, and Brian Koons, her grandchildren; Christopher Koons, Zachary Koons, Courtney Koons, Bradshaw Koons, and Desiree Sammons, her step-grandchildren; Elizabeth and Martin, her great granddaughter, Payten Sammons, her brothers; George McRedmond Jr., Samuel McRedmond, and Joseph McRedmond, her sister, Rosemary McRedmond, and her loyal canine companion, Subway.
