OBITUARY
Rhonda Lee (Hubbard) Lovelace, 61, of Hammon, OK, passed away on Friday, May 14, 2021 peacefully at home, winning her courageous battle with cancer.
Rhonda was born on May 25, 1959 to Ronald Hubbard and Katherine (Pritchett) Brown in Hinton, OK. She was one of 3 girls.
In 1973, she met Robert Lovelace. They became high school sweethearts, and wed on May 18, 1974, going on to have three children, Allen, Christy, and Rae Lynn.
Rhonda was a beautician for 18 years and owned Family Hair Care in Hammon, OK. She then bought her business, Something Special, in Elk City and had it for about 10 years before she was diagnosed with advanced stages of cancer and had to retire.
Rhonda spent her time working in her yard, planting flowers, riding her horse Peanut, watching Makia play ball, painting, sewing, cooking, and taking care of her animals and family. There wasn't much she couldn't do. She took pride in keeping her house immaculate. Rhonda had the biggest, most caring heart and would help anyone or animal in need.
Rhonda was predeceased by her father, Ronald Hubbard, her stepfather, Elmer Brown, her father-in-law Keith Lovelace and her sister Denise Bogle. She is survived by her husband Robert Lovelace of the home, son, Robert Allen Lovelace and Jamie Snell of Purcell, OK, daughters, Christy Lea Lovelace of Hammon, OK, Rae Lynn Lovelace of Hammon, OK, Nan Blassingame and husband Cody of Cedar Park, Texas, granddaughters, Lauren Marie Greenway and husband Curtis of Elk City, OK, Rebekah Lyn Kephart and husband Bryce of Fort Riley, KS, Makia Aspen Lovelace of Hammon, OK, Kinzie Venzor and husband Jordan of Oklahoma City, OK and grandson, Toby Shane Blassingame of Cedar Park, TX, and one great granddaughter, Farren Lea Kephart due in August. Rhonda is also survived by her mother, Katherine Brown of Elk City, OK, little sister, Brenda Vincent and husband Rod of Lookeba, OK, mother-in-law, Lois Lovelace of Hammon, OK, sister-in-law Susan Winchester and Bill Swisher of Hinton, OK, little buddy Darla Lovelace of Hammon, OK, and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews that she adored. Family meant everything to her.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the following people: Doctor Toma and her nurse Vicky of Cancer Specialist of Oklahoma, Doctor Jamie Gore of Leedey Oklahoma, Shepherd Home Health and Hospice of Clinton Oklahoma and a host of family and friends for their phenomenal care during our family's most difficult time.

Oh, by the way, this is Rhonda's 47th wedding anniversary today.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Red Hill Cemetery in Hammon.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Community Fellowship Church in Hammon under the direction of Whinery Funeral Service. Condolences may be made online at www.whineryfs.com
