James Robert Tomlinson (my 2nd cousin 2x removed) was born on Feb 23, 1866 in Echols Co, GA to John (1832-1905) and Mary (1842-1933) . James married Rachel Touchton, age 24, on Nov 9, 1890 at the age of 24 in southern Georgia. They had one child and then Rachel died in 1910. James married Ruth Bertha Webb, age 31, on Jul 19, 1911 at the age of 45 in Lafayette Co, FL. They had four children in 6 years. James worked as a farmer in northern Florida. Ruth died in 1934 at the age of 53 and is buried in Old Town, Dixie Co, FL. James died in 1944, at the age of 78, and is buried next to his second wife.
