James Price

James Winston Price, 73, of Greenville died the night of Oct. 23, 2007, at his residence. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. today in the Peniel Church of the Nazarene under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Officiants are Rev. Roy Hight, Rev. Cliff Reneau and Rev. Marvin McDaniel. Burial follows in Memoryland Memorial Park.

Son of Alfred and Nora Baggerly Price, he was born June 21, 1934, in Ben Arnold. On July 24, 1967, he married Linda Stow in Lexington, Texas. Mr. Price served in the Air Force from April 9, 1954, to Nov. 22, 1957. He worked in reproduction for and retired from E-Systems. He was a member of the Peniel Church of the Nazarene.

Surviving are his wife of Greenville; two daughters and a son-in-law, Kim and Mike English of Greenville and Lisa Holman of Emory; three sisters, Doris Price of Houston, Billie Price of Garland and Lanell Vickers of Rosenberg; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father in 1985; his mother in 1994; a brother, Bo Price in 1996; grandmother Mattie Baggerly in 1992; sister Bobbie Bledsoe and a brother-in-law, Buddy Bledsoe.

Pallbearers are Larry Isham, Roy Anderson, Hugh Davis, Tim Bledsoe, James Bledsoe and Ray Robnett.
