MISHAWAKA - Sharon was born in South Bend, IN on Feb 15th, 1936 to William ( Bill ) and Frances Edwards. During her marriage to John Gordon, she raised two sons; David and John, and a daughter; Susan. In her early adult years, Sharon had a passion for painting and riding her beloved horse Penny. She was very close to her only sister Judy. She worked at the McKinley Pub as a bartender from 1996 to 2014 and was a member of American Legion post 303 where she visited several times a week. She also loved going to South Haven MI with friends. Her grandfather William Howard ( Cap) Edwards attended and graduated from the University of Notre Dame, where he played football as a guard, she loved Notre Dame and was proud that her family was part of its early history. In 2017 she moved to Dallas TX to be closer to family Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, sister and great grandson. She is survived by her three children, Susan Romanowski(Gary), John Gordon, David Gordon ( Shawyn), Grandchildren; David Gordon Jr (Angela), Krista Valadez ( Jason) Korri Anderson ( Chris) Devin Romanowski ( Korin) John Kyle Gordon She also has 9 great grandchildren. A small family service and burial will be planned for this summer in Mishawaka
