NICHOLSON, 417220 Pilot Officer Ronald Laing, R.A.A.F. - Beloved eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Nicholson of Port Augusta and brother of Douglas of Whyalla. Previously reported missing, now known to have lost his life on June 10, 1944 near Trappes, France and buried in the cemetery of Elancourt by the parish priest. Died fighting that we may live."
