PRATT—Pratt - Dorothy May (Fisher) Furgason, 86, passed away Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Kansas Heart Hospital. She was born August 4, 1934 in Preston to Algernon E. and Edith Irene (Haynes) Fisher. Dorothy married Howard C. Furgason on October 10, 1953 in Preston. He preceded her in death on March 7, 1989.

Dorothy graduated from Preston High School in 1952. She worked as a bookkeeper for Pratt Well Service and many other area businesses. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Board Member at Achievement Place, Republican Women, Eastern Star Rebekah Lodge, Business Professional Women, United Methodist Women, Preston 4-H Club Leader, Lunch Bunch, Afternoon Study Club and assisted with Pratt 75er's Dinner. She loved her dogs, drawing and painting, needlework, flower gardening, jigsaw and crossword puzzles, spending time at 99 Springs, and being a grandma and "GG".

She is survived by her children, Debra A. (Bob) Minks of Stafford, Diana L. (Randi) Clifford of Manhattan and Kenneth W. (Lori) Furgason of Whitewater; grandchildren, Nicholas (Katie) Minks, Dallas (Alicia) Minks, Megan (Tyler) McCann, Kyle Clifford, Kelsey Minks, Andrew (Claire) Clifford, Amanda (Shane) Donovan and Daniel Clifford; and 14 great grandchildren.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard C. Furgason; and her brothers, Eugene Fisher, Glenn Fisher, Ronald Fisher, Robert Fisher.

Visitation was Thursday, March 18, 2021 with family receiving friends from 5-7 at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt. Funeral service were Friday, March 19, 2021, at Larrison Mortuary. A Graveside service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Stafford Cemetery, Stafford.
