Funeral services for Mrs. Cathy Gail Williams, age 70, will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 in the Shelton-Hunt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from Wednesday from 12 PM until service time.
Mrs. Williams, a member of the Diamond Grove Church of Christ in Beech Bluff for over 30 years, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville after a short, courageous battle with cancer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie Earl and Ethel Mae Green; brothers, George Green, Neil Green and Bobby Green; a sister, Rachel Tettleton; and daughter-in-law, Kathina Williams.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband of 54 years and love of her life, Jack Williams; a son Kenneth Williams of Beech Bluff; grandsons, Blake Williams and Gavin Williams; a granddaughter, Arianna Williams; a step granddaughter, Destiny Hebert; great grandchildren, Ella Williams and Kegan Williams; a brother, joe Green of Dearborn Heights, MI; her best friend, Pamela Thomas; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be David Williams, Robert Williams, Jerry Williams, Robert Thomas, Adam Green, Paul hatcher, Blake Williams and Gavin Williams.
