Christine M. Byrne, 90, of Elmhurst, passed away Monday, April 26, 2021. She was born February 26, 1931 in Chesterton, Indiana, to Andrew and Louise Royko.

Christine is survived by her daughters Marlene (Terry) Knapp and Rita Clark; her grandchildren Terry Jr. (Mandy), Joe (Amy), Mike (Lindsey), Christina (Anthony), John (Wendy), Dan (Jen), Jesse (Stephanie) and Kathy (Mike); her thirteen great grandchildren; her siblings Andrew Royko and Louise (Jim) Stowe; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Ambrose Byrne; her son Jim Byrne; and her parents.
