Mary Georgia Wing Spencer, 80, died Monday, May 28, 1990 in a West Jordan care center.

She was born March 4, 1910 in Lehi to George Hyrum and Martha Ann Fox Wing.

Married Valdor Lawrence Spencer on December 5, 1927 in Salt Lake City; solemnized later in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died April 24, 1988.

She was a lunchroom supervisor at Riverton Elementary School for several years before retiring.

She had served in the LDS Church as a Primary President, and in the YWMIA.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed fishing and traveling.

Survived by five sons and a daughter, Dr. LaVal W. Spencer, Ogden; Stanley G. Spencer, Kearns; Lowell Spencer, Orange, California; Kenneth Lee Spencer, Sandy; John Robert Spencer, Riverton; and Mrs. Monty (Elaine) Hardman, South Jordan; twenty grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and two sisters, Mrs. Orvetta Adams, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Ove (Jenalyn) Christensen, Lehi.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 31, 1990 at 11:001 a.m. in the Riverton Third Ward Chapel, 12880 South Redwood Road (1700 West), where friends may call prior from 9:30 a.m. until time of the services.
Burial: Bluffdale Cemetery.
