Married John W. Cook 18 October 1894. Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
Known Children:
Clyde Elseworth Cook - 26 June 1892
Roy E. Cook - circa 1907

Minnie was the fourth born of six children in her family. Her father, Thomas, was a working man who appears to have been orphaned at an early age. He worked in the steel industry and eventually became a farmer in Penn Township, Perry County. She lost her father in 1884 and her mother went to live with Minnie's brother, John, in Duncannon.

Her husband, John, was about twenty years her elder and married late. At some point he served in the 2nd US Cavalry (his service record at the moment untraceable) perhaps in the Indian Wars. He was an iron and steel worker who by 1920 was a laborer on the railroad. The family lived in Duncannon. When her husband died in 1926, Minnie continued to live in Duncannon and is found with her son, Roy, in the 1930 census and then living alone in 1940.

Interestingly, in 1920, she and John had taken into their household her mother's widowed 84 year old half sister, Catherine (Wax) Godcharles.
