Earline Walton Scott, 81, of 1159 Spring Street, widow of W. Earl Scott, died Tuesday, June 22, 2004 at Self Regional Medical Center.
Born in Saluda County, she was a daughter of the late Cleveland Franklin and Martha Elizabeth Lowry Walton. She retired from Greenwood Mills Mathews Plant and was a member of Greenwood Mills Quarter Century Club. She was a member of South Main Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Janice Elaine Benner of Sumter and Phyllis Earl Patrick of Greenwood; a sister, Alpha W. Matthews of Greenwood; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson.
Services are 2 p.m. Friday at Blyth Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. David Patterson. Burial is in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers are Richard Davis, Carroll Culbertson, Preston Culbertson, Donald Christian, Richard Christian and Andy Anderson.
Visitation is 7-8:30 tonight at the funeral home.
