Last rites for Esmer Hayden Braswell were held »t Bethsaida Church on Thursday afternoon, September 26th, at two o'clock the Rev. C. F. Anglin assistd by the Rev. Sam Patterson officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery under the direction of Lee Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers were Esley Rodgers, Barney Thomas, Beryl Thomas, Jack Crum, J. H. McDial and Fritz Morgan.

Mr. Braswell passed away at the Baptist Hospital on September 24th as the result of injuries received in an automobile accident. He was born in Attala County on October 9, 1914, and was a member of Bethsaida Baptist Church. He was employed as a sawmill employee at Crosby at the time of his death.

Mr. Braswell is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hilda Leona Braswell of Crosby; a son, Clannis Harold Braswell; two daughters, Eula Faye and Myra Kay Braswell; a brother, Elmer Braswell; and two sisters, Mrs. Lola Braswell of French Camp and Mrs. Virginia Bailey of Itta Bena.
