Deborah Ann "Debbie" Collins, RN/CCRN, age 63, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at her home in Morristown. She worked for various medical facilities in the Lakeway area, including Lakeway Regional Hospital, Cherokee Health Systems, Amedisys Hospice, and retired from Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. She was a member of the Avenue Church. Debbie enjoyed spending time on the lake, crocheting, and reading books, but especially loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy T. and Sallie Cloud; and sister Juday Wilson.
Survivors include her sister Sheila Cloud; children April Watkins, Kelley Collins, and Sam Skylar Collins; grandchildren Raven Collins, Saydee Watkins, and Kaylee Collins; great grandchildren Addalynn and Avaya; as well as several special friends and other family members.
The family would like to give special thanks to Amedisys Home Health and Hospice, the Dyer family and everyone involved with the Chili Benefit, and all of those who have shown their love and support during Debbie's illness.
Funeral services are planned for 7:00 pm Saturday, May 15, 2021in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home with Nathan Valentine officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 prior to the service. Graveside services are planned for 2:00 pm Sunday, May 16, 2021in Historic Bethesda Cemetery.
