George Edward Norton, age 83, of Knoxville and Morristown, passed away Friday, May 14, 2021. He was retired from Lear Siegler. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Effie Norton; step-daughter, Cheri Wilson; and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife, Donna Norton; children, Rocky (Karen) Norton, Candi (Kevin) Wiley, Michael (Becky) Norton; grandchildren, Alexandria (Jeremy) Miller, Samuel (Caitlin) Norton, Sebastion Wiley, Chrissy Norton, Alexis Norton, Michael Norton, Ayden Norton, Gage Norton, Kayla Boring, and Logan Boring; two great-grandchildren; and sister, Dorothy Carpenter. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 18th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 19th at Harrell Cemetery in Bean Station for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
