Vernie Lucille LaCaze, 88, of Pitkin, LA, passed from this life on Sunday, June 14, 2015 in Lake Charles, LA. Those left to cherish her memory are her children; two sons and daughters-in-law; five daughters and sons-in-law; two sisters; 20 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Willie Gervious “Bo” LaCaze Sr.; parents, James and Nancy Smith; 8 brothers; and 1 sister.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 atthe Pitkin Pentecostal Church in Pitkin, LA. Burial followed at Blue Branch Cemetery in Pitkin. Rev. C.R. Bayham officiated.
