Ann Marie Thompson, 67, of Pembroke, NC, passed away on May 11, 2021, in the comfort of her home.
She was born on February 20, 1954.
Ann was a devoted wife, mother, sister and matriarch for the Lowry family. She enjoyed feeding her abundance of nieces/nephews and (great)nieces/nephews who could always count on a good homecooked meal with an ice-cold Pepsi or just hours of laughter and fun.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Jimmie" Thompson; her mother, Janie Lucille Lowry; her brothers: James Lynn Lowry, Michael Lowry, and Harvey Bruce Lowry; and a sister, Deborah Lowry.
Ann is survived by her daughter, Ashley Renee Lowry of the home; three brothers: Larry Lowry (Delores), Jerry Lowry, and Bobby Dean Lowry (Kathy); and a sister, Barbara Bullard, and a host of relatives and friends.
The funeral services will be held in Mt. Olive Pentecostal Holiness Church. The burial services will be held at Lumbee Memorial Gardens, 774 Moss Neck Rd, Lumberton , NC 28360.
