Morris (Mickey) Walter Evans, age 90 of Danielson, died May 11, 2021 at Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam. He was the husband of Florence (Luce) Evans. They were married twice, on June 9, 1956 and June 9, 2008 at the Baptist Church in Danielson. He was born October 26, 1930, son of the late Walter and Dorris (Fitzgerald) Evans. He was a 1948 graduate of Killingly High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps on July 14, 1948 at the age of 17 and was honorably discharged on July 13, 1952 as a sergeant. He was stationed at Subic Bay, Philippines in 1948, 1949, and 1950. He was in active combat in Korea in 1951. As a marine, Mickey proudly served his country
