Gladys L. Peacock, 95, of Marianna, Florida died Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Marianna Health & Rehab.

She was born October 6, 1925, in St. Petersburg, Florida to the late William McKinley McNair and Ruth Elizabeth Jenkins McNair. She was retired postmaster of Greenwood Florida and a lifetime member of the First Baptist Church of Campbellton.

She was a loving mother who's greatest joy was to have her family gather for one of her amazing meals, fellowship and maybe a Peacock Court Session. In addition to collecting anything with a "peacock" on it, she enjoyed spending summers at Compass Lake, cooking, traveling and camping.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Columbus Peacock, Jr. in 1999; sons, Richard C Peacock III and Randy M Peacock; sisters, Norma Peacock and Martha Beauchamp.

She is survived by her son, Michael A Peacock; daughter in law, Vonda Peacock; grandchildren, Richard C. Peacock IV (Rachel), Jeremy, Dustin, Randall, Robert T, Brian Peacock (Lyndsay); granddaughter, Amanda M Wies; seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, May 16, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Campbellton with Revs. Addis Habbard and Luther Pumphrey officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.

The family will receive friends Sunday 1:30 - 3:00PM at the church.
