Mr Reynolds helped organize the Farmers Savings Bank at Irwin and was later associated with an investment firm in Des Moines before moving to Baxter, Iowa in 1919. At the time of his death he was a farm manager. He was a member of the Bethany church at Baxter and the Pomegranite Lodge No. 408 A.F.A.M. of Alta, Iowa.
His wife, who survives, was the former Norma Hager of Baxter. They were married April 8, 1941.
Besides his wife he is survived by a son, Darel Norman of Baxter; also four sons by a former marriage; Dale of Des Moines; Wayne of Marshalltown; Gene of San Mateo, California and Dwight of Esterville; a sister, Mrs Carl Mickelson of Irwin; two brothers, Homer of Irwin and Glenn of Sacramento, California and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held August 20, 1954 at the Bethany Evangelical church at Baxter with the Rev. Lowell E. Ferguson in charge. Burial was in the Baxter cemetery.
