After school Noel began working in the printing field first as an apprentice but soon became a journeyman. In the 60's, he moved to join his mother on the Grand Cayman islands. It was there that Noel seized the opportunity to join the National Bulk Carrier and worked on the ship around the globe for the next seven years. Noel eventually moved to the United States, settling near Philadelphia and went back into printing at the Globe Ticket Company. During this time he also became a licensed barber before moving to Colorado to join his sister and niece. While in Colorado, Noel worked with United Airlines for 20 years before retiring in 2001. In 1999, Noel married the love of his life and best friend Hyancinth "Madge" Gale. Noel and Madge laughed, traveled, and lived happily until her unexpected passing in 2007.
From a young age, Noel was captivated by jazz music and it forever had a special place in his heart and home. He loved sharing quality time with his family, listening to music, playing dominos, and watching cricket matches. Noel defined "no nonsense" and consistently put his family first throughout his life.
Noel peacefully departed this earth on May 8th, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife Madge and his mother Everil. He is lovingly remembered by his younger sister, niece, nephew, great nieces and nephews, and also great-great nieces.
