Mr. Stephen Scott Walker, age 55, of Temple, GA, passed away May 13, 2021.

He was born in Polk County, GA, on November 4, 1965.

Scott graduated with the 1983 class of Haralson County High School. He went on to work for the State of Georgia Building Authority and retired after 30 years. He was proud of his work with the state and always proud of doing a job well done, no matter how big or small. His work ethic helped instill a sense of duty to those around him. In his free time, Scott loved to watch NASCAR and cheer on the Georgia Bulldogs.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Alison Williams; his maternal grandparents, Herman Robinson and Maude Robinson; and his paternal grandparents, Wallace Walker and Bouie Walker.

He is survived by his two daughters and sons-in-law, Kelley and Kenny McPherson, of Tallapoosa, GA, and Khrysti and Thomas Campana, of Rio Rancho, NM; a son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Alyssa Walker, of Temple, GA; his mother and stepfather, Audrey and Anthony Williams; his father and stepmother, Stephen and Flora Walker, all of Tallapoosa; six grandchildren, Cameran Cash, Mia Campana, Trent McPherson, Emma McPherson, Cohen Walker, and Austin Walker; and a sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Greg Wood, of Tallapoosa.

The family will have a private service, and, in keeping with his wishes, Scott will be cremated afterward.

Miller Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
