Mary was born March 10, 1957 in Quincy, Illinois, the daughter of George and Mildred Gallaher Straube. She married Garry Fuller on December 31, 1975 in Parkview Church, Quincy, Illinois. He survives.
She attended Quincy High School. Mary worked at Days Inn, St. Vincent's Home, and at Wal-Mart as a door greeter. Mary more importantly always took care of her family.
Mary loved going to casinos, watching wrestling, going thrift store shopping, and was a known Jokester. She was a huge fan of all of her children's and grandchildren's sporting events. She was always heard in the bleachers and was their #1 cheerleader. Mary loved spending time with her family and always loved having family cookouts with both sides of her family.
In addition to her husband, Mary is survived by her two daughters, Stacy (Roy) Gibson and Amanda (Andrew) Lyons, both of Quincy; seven grandchildren, Damon and Tyler Gibson, Nicholas, Keaton, and Noah Crowder, Braeden and Isabella Lyons; two special grandchildren, Abbey and Belle Elsie; brother, George Straube, Jr.; sister, Linda (Ed) Miller; brothers and sisters-in-law, Terry (Jo) Fuller, Karen Nutt, Barb Campbell, Rose Fuller, and Becky (Mike) Riggs; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Becky Sue Straube, and a brother, Bernard "Butch" Straube.
Services: 10:00 am Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home, with Rev. Trent Lyons officiating.
