Born on September 16, 1942 in Anderson to the late David and Elise Mae Vaughn Hart, he served in the United States Army Reserves and retired from Greenwood Mills Harris Plant.
He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, and Centre Lodge #37 A.F.M.
Surviving other than his wife of 17 years, of the home, are his children, Greg and Traci Hart, and Tracy Hart Sears (Joey) all of Honea Path; his stepdaughter, Sharon Smith of Honea Path; his grandchildren, Josh Hart, Marley Phillips, Bubba Phillips, Brenda Honea, Bradley Phillips, and Josey Sears; his sisters, Louise Thomas, and Cathy Foskey; 15 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Annie Taylor.
Burial in the Garden of Memories, with Masonic Rites.
