Patricia "Patsy" Bateman, 69 , Phoenixville

Patricia Bateman, 69, passed away Tuesday May 11, 2021 in the Phoenixville Hospital. Mother, grandmother, and dear friend to many, she always brought joy and laughter wherever she went.

She was born January 3, 1952 to the late Jack Armstrong and the late Marian (Donahue) Armstrong. Pat was a graduate of Abington High School, and Shippensburg University with a major in education. She worked as a substitute teacher in Mt. Joy, and eventually Spring City Elementary, where she became a fulltime teacher, and worked there for 30+ year.

Pat was very creative and enjoyed wreath making and decorating. She enjoyed the beach and loved the feel of the warmth of the sun on her face.

Always a smile on her face, and a laugh in her heart, she could cheer up a room. Patsy will be missed by her friends and family, especially the "Bucktown moms" with whom she shared many stories and adventures. She absolutely loved her children and adored her granddaughter.

Patsy leaves behind her sons, Curtis Bateman and Andrew Bateman, and her daughter, Lindsay Oliver; her brothers Robert Armstrong and Richard Armstrong; and the light of her life, her granddaughter, Addilyn Marian Rose Oliver.

A memorial service will be held in the near future at the R. Strunk Funeral Home. Please continue to check here for updates. Burial of Ashes will be at a later date.
