Margaret Louise Hoskins, age 94, joined her loving husband, Jewell, in Heaven on Wednesday, May 12, 2021. She passed peacefully at her home in Arlington, KY.
Mrs. Hoskins was born on April 22, 1927 to the late Estelle and Ruby Page King. She was a Registered Nurse and retired from Mayfield Community Hospital. She was a devout member of Arlington First Baptist Church where she served her church faithfully and worked in the nursery for many years. She was a member of the Womens Club of Arlington and was a supporter of the Kentucky Woman's Missionary Union. She will be remembered as someone who loved to serve Jesus and take care of others. She was an adoring "Nanny" to her cherished grandchildren. Margaret truly believed that a praying grandmother was the most powerful person on Earth.
Margaret is survived by one son, Steve Hoskins and wife, Janie of Mt. Juliet, TN; one daughter-in-law, Lisa Hoskins of Mayfield, KY; seven grandchildren, Lacey Hoskins Lichtenwalter (Grant), Grant Hoskins (Heather), Jason Hoskins (Kelli), Travis Hoskins, Audrey Watkins (Mark), Kaity Houston (Derrick), and Rachel Coleman (Austin); and ten great-grandchildren, Grifin Lichtenwalter, Avery Lichtenwalter, Wyatt Hoskins, Samuel Hoskins, Maddox Houston, Jude Houston, Isaac Watkins, Luke Watkins, Gabriel King and Blakely Coleman.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Jewell Hoskins; one son, Gary Hoskins; two sisters, Virginia Ann Thompson and Madge Thomas; and two brothers, Jim King and Murrell King.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 pm on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington with Rev. David Sphinx officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington City Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 1:30 pm until the 3:30pm Service time on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington.
