Funeral Services Held Today for Mrs. Amy Kersey After an extended illness Mrs. Amy Kersey 78 of 305 North Belt East formerly of Caseyville died at 12:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon at St Elizabeth's Hospital where she had been a patient for one week Mrs. Kersey was born in Canteen Township November 18 1883 and was a daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Davinroy nee Rouge Her husband Harry Kersey a retired farmer died in April 1943 Surviving are five children Juanita wife of Edward Whitten 25 Flamingo Drive Joseph and Walter Kersey both of Collinsville Amy wife of Erwin Buechle 1814 North Belt East and Geraldine wife of Arthur Burgert 305 North Belt East with whom she resided a brother Anthony Davinroy of Caseyville eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren Another brother and three sisters preceded her in death She was a member of St Ann's Altar Sodality of St Stephen's Church Caseyville The funeral was held at 8:30 o'clock this morning from Gundlach and Company Funeral Home to St Stephen's Church for a requiem mass at 9 o'clock Burial was in Caseyville Cemetery and the pallbearers were John Whitten Harold Nevois Tommv Bowen David Buechle and David and Richard Pencek it
