Betty June (Walker) Cole was born on June 3, 1935 in Pittsburgh, KS to Burt and Myrtle Walker. She passed from this life on May 11, 2021 in Texarkana, TX at the age of 85.
Betty was affiliated with the Victory Life Church in Broken Bow, OK. She spent 27 years in Idabel, OK after moving from Lincoln, KS and spending a brief period in Hastings, Nebraska. She enjoyed raising Yorkies, having exotic birds, going to yard sales, going shopping, and collecting clothes, jewelry, and dolls. She married Duane Edward Cole on January 15, 1955 in Corpus Christi, TX. They enjoyed 66 years of marriage until her passing.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; four siblings; and great aunt, Vivian Walker.
She is survived by her husband of the home; sons, Terrance Duane Cole (wife, Robbin) and Daniel Eugene Cole (wife, Abby); daughter, Elizabeth Ann Chard (husband, Randall); brother, Harold Walker; grandchildren, Lindsey Bruns, Morgan Moltane, Heather Hemm, Brandon Cole, Nathan Cole, Aaron Cole, Melissa Raymer, and Ryan Cole; great-grandchildren, Chandler, Kriztafer, Reagan, Keighan, Maizey, Kai, Ellyanna, and Marjorie; special friends, Tommy Hill and Annie Bledsoe; and a number of nephews, nieces, extended family members, and friends.
A Celebration Of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 14, 2021 at the Victory Life Church in Broken Bow.
Betty will be interred in the Lincoln Memorial Cemetery in Lincoln, KS.
