Daughter of Pearly Ervin and Bobbie Lee Sawyer Britt, wife of Jimmy Rogers.

MULLINS- Anne Britt Rogers, 58, of Mullins passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Mullins on December 18, 1962, daughter of the late Pearly Ervin Britt and the late Bobbie Lee Sawyer Britt.

Anne graduated from Mullins High School and worked with DHEC until her health no longer allowed her to do so. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who set an example for her family that will lead them all their lives. She was a humble and gentle person and a faithful servant who impacted the lives of many people. Whether she was preparing food for Victory Sports Camp, the students from Villanova, or Bible School, she did it with the heart of a servant and never complained. Just recently, her church, Macedonia United Methodist Church dedicated the kitchen in her honor for the many hours she spent unselfishly giving of her talents in organizing and feeding others. She also enjoyed being outside working in her flowers, nature, photographing the outdoors, and was an avid deer hunter.

In addition to her parents, Anne was predeceased by a brother, Joe Britt.

She is survived by her beloved husband of thirty-nine years, Jimmy Rogers of Mullins; a son, Dusty Rogers (Cecily) of Mullins; a daughter, Brittany Rogers Johnston (Alex) of Charleston; two brothers, Mike Britt (Vicki) and Buddy Britt (Lynn), both of Mullins; and 3 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 15, 2021, in the sanctuary of Macedonia United Methodist Church with Reverend Wayne Sayre and Reverend Kem Thomas officiating. A committal service will follow at Devotion Gardens.

"Blessed is the one who remains steadfast under trial, for when that person has stood the test, they will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him." James 1:12. Anne was one of those people, and on Wednesday, she received her crown.
