Guy Jeffery "Jeff" Carter, age 59, formerly of Marble Falls passed away August 24, 2013, at his daughter April's home in Austin.

He was born March 3, 1954, in Denver, Colorado to Ralph Hensle Carter and Donna Ann (Logan) Carter.

Jeff was a 1972 graduate of Marble Falls High School and played on the baseball team. He loved baseball and coaching T-Ball and Little League. He was a "jack of all trades" and did many things. He retired as a truck driver where he worked for Cen-Tex Cement and for Ingram Ready-Mix. For the past 10 years or so he had lived with his daughter April in Austin.

Jeff is survived by his daughters, April Castaneda and husband Roger of Austin and Jennifer Mead and husband Rob of Marble Falls; his brother, Brad Carter and wife Michelle Carter of St. Cloud, Florida; mother, Donna Carter of Kingsland and grandchildren, Isabell Castaneda, Cory Castaneda, Elena Castaneda, Becca Mead, and Lucas Mead.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph and his brother, Bryan Carter.

A memorial service for Jeff will be held at 5:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 27, 2013, at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel with Mark Mayfield and Nick Shock officiating.

Jeff's family has asked that you make memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association or since he loved animals, to the SPCA. Condolences may be offered at www.clementswilcoxfuneralhome.com.
