She was born on December 17, 1939 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Charles Frank and Verna Lee (Young) Brasuell.
She was a graduate of the College of the Ozarks and was retired from the shipping and handling Department of Whirlpool.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Knox.
Funeral services are 10:00 AM, Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Fort Smith
She is survived by her three sons, Steve Rainwater of Lawenceberg, KY, Mark Rainwater and his wife Pamela of Fort Smith and James Rainwater and his wife Annie of Thomas, OK: a brother, Charles Brasuell of MO; her husband Jim Cox of Fort Smith; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
