Mildred Thompson (nee Burks) age 87 of Staffordsville, Virginia, passed away February 22nd, 2021. Beloved wife of Thomas "Milt" Thompson (dec) for 47 years.
Loving mother of Linda Locastro (Jim) of Cleveland, Ohio with whom she had lived for the past two years. Grandmother of Kristen Locastro of Cleveland and Gina Locastro (Tanya Gustafson) of Cleveland. Daughter of the late George Kyle Burks and the late Ethel Burks (nee Milam). Sister of Patricia Davis [Neil) and James Burks (Gail) both of Princeton, W. Va., the late Charlie, George Morgan (Junior), Jesse Cecil (J.C.) and Elva Burks Bedwell. Dear sister-in-law of Paul Thompson (Dolores, dec). Loving Aunt to 29 nieces and nephews with countless cherished friends in Ohio, West Virginia and especially Virginia.
Funeral Services will be Saturday May 22nd, 2021 at Eatons Chapel Methodist Church, Eatons Chapel Road, Staffordsville.
Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton, immediately following the service.
