Graveside funeral service for Bobby Ray Jackson, 60, of North, SC will be held eleven o'clock a.m., Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Hopewell Southern Methodist Church Cemetery with the Dr. John Hucks, Jr. and Reverend Henry Cooper officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. Memorial contributions may be given to Hopewell Southern Methodist Church, 1715 Ninety-Six Rd., North, SC 29112. Bobby Ray passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021; Bobby Ray stated "He was ready to go home."

Born in Orangeburg, SC, he was a son of Bobby Joe Jackson and Nancy Gleaton Jackson. He was a member of the Hopewell Southern Methodist Church and was a retired deputy sheriff from the Orangeburg County.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his sons Justin Ray Jackson of CO, Casey Adam (Dorothy Sierra) Jackson of Pinehill; grandson Wyatt Olin Jackson; sisters Vickie Jackson (Spencer) Irick of Orangeburg, Janet Elaine Jackson of North; a brother Andrew Gleaton Jackson of North; nieces Shembra Irick (Robert) Erxleben, Bayleah (Jackson) Cooper; nephew Kendell Wiley (Mary Katherine Kelly) Jackson; great nephews Robert Paul "Robbie" Erxleben, Julian Cooper, Tradd Cooper and a great niece Juno Rowan Erxleben.
