Born May 24, 1948 in Berrien County, Mrs. Stone was the daughter of the late Melvin Browning and Inez Robinson Browning. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Lee Stone; and one brother, William Browning. She was a homemaker and a member of Vanceville Congregational Christian Church. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and she enjoyed cooking, swimming, fishing and embroidery.
Mrs. Stone is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Shane and Justine Stone and Zach and Sarah Stone, all of Tifton; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Hope Vance, and Ashly and Boone Webster, all of Tifton and Brittany Anna and Michael Morgan of Atlanta; one son-in-law, Wycliffe Vance of Tifton; one brother, Mel Browning of Nashville; two sisters, Christy Rowe and Judy Hill, both of Nashville; thirteen grandchildren, Steven Connell and his wife Audrey, Tommy Ross Vance and his wife Anna, Jacob Stone, Nathan Stone, Sam Vance, Wyc Vance, Casen Stone, Sutton Webster, Ali Stone, Lana Stone, Millee Webster, Zeb Webster and Elli Ruth Stone; and two great-grandchildren, Holden Connell and Harrison Connell.
