Steven Jeffrey Blossom, or "Horse" to his many friends, was born on March 15th, 1961, in Tahlequah, OK, the son of Billy Joe Thompson and Shirley (Blossom) Wing. He earned his living as a welder, and traveled extensively finishing his career at CRC Evans in Tulsa, OK. He married his wife Norine on December 17th, 2002 in Holdenville, OK. When he wasn't working, he loved a day spent at the fishing hole or on the river. He also liked to collect various types of objects, pending on his mood at the time. He was proud of his Cherokee heritage and demonstrated his ability making Cherokee flutes, beadwork and leather art. He loved his family and friends and was the kind of man that enjoyed the sunrise from his own backyard. He was quiet and thoughtful, often enjoying the quiet life in nature. He was proud of his daughter and grandchildren, and enjoyed hearing of all their accomplishments. He was a Baptist by faith, and passed from this life on May 2nd, 2021 at Tulsa, OK. He was 60 years old and will be greatly missed.

Horse is preceded in death by his mother, father, brother, Sidney Blossom, Paternal grandparents Drunken and Bessie Thompson, maternal grandparents, Eli Blossom and Cecilia Mae Leaf and step-grandmother, Sarah Blossom.

Steven is survived by his wife, Norine Blossom and daughter Maggie Blossom and six grandchildren all of Tulsa, Sidney Blossom, Tissie Blossom, Autumn Blossom, Lilly Ullrich, Cynthia Ullrich, and Steven Ullrich. He also leaves his aunts, Pauline Sounders and husband Lewis, Margaret Wilson and husband Phil, Evelyn Gritts and companion Phillip McIntosh, Sandy Houston and companion Dale DuShane, all of Tahlequah, and uncles, Ken Blossom and wife Shari of Gentry, AR, Bobby Blossom and wife Shelia of Welling, OK, and Darrell Blossom of Teresita, OK. He also leaves many cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.

Graveside services for Steven Jeffery Blossom will be held on Tuesday, May 18th, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Johnson Prairie Cemetery with Pastor DJ McCarter officiating. Pallbearers include Joey Gritts, Josh Gritts, Kevin Daugherty, Phillip McIntosh, Jericho Blossom, and Aaron Houston. Honorary pallbearers include Ken Blossom, Bobby Blossom, Darrell Blossom, Tim Daugherty, Marcus Daugherty, Phil Wilson, Lewis Sounders, Eric Smith and Dr. Cory Still.
