Kim worked for Wells Fargo as a supervisor for 23 years; she loved music, concerts, travel and going on cruises and especially trips to the beach. She saw the world through her sunglasses.
Kim is survived by her husband of 17 years, Kevin Akers; mother, Betty McAbee; sister, Lisa Copeland and her husband Rob; father and mother-law, Al and Mare Akers.
A celebration of life will be conducted 1:00 Sunday, May 16, 2021 in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Family and friends will gather to remember Kim at a visitation Sunday, May 16, 2021 from 11:00 until the service at 1:00 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 South Dickerson Pike Goodlettsville, Tennessee.
