Gerald was born to the proud parents of Moses and Bridget Burgan Reynolds. He was the second child of four children from that union

Gerald graduated from Southwestern High School in Detroit in 1980. In December 1982 Gerald join the United States Air Force Academy and served as a Subsistence Operations Specialist and was stationed in Colorado. He completed his military service in November 1985 and then moved to California.

One of Gerald most treasured moments was the birth of his only son. Gerald Demoirie Reynolds was born on June 24,1993. Gerald was so elated to be a father. Gerald met his beloved Cheryl in October of 1996. After a long courtship, they married on December 22, 2012.

Gerald was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, Uncle and friend. He enjoyed socializing with friends, meeting new people and traveling.

Gerald leaves to cherish his memories; his wife Cheryl; his son Gerald: his father Moses: his stepsons Rory and Terrance; his grandchildren Leilah, Joran, Jayden and Terrell; his brothers Kenneth, Lester and Michael; his sister Zina and a host of family and friends. He was predeceased by his mother Bridget; his grandmother Irma; his brothers Wendell and Derek.
