Charles Randall "Randy" Hart , 62, of Sundown, TX went to be with the Lord, his mom and brother on May 7, 2021. Randy was born in San Diego, California on December 29, 1958 to Tom and Mona Hart. He also had 2 brothers Ken and Tom Hart. Growing up the baby had its perks. It also had its disadvantages especially when you have two older brothers. At the end of the day his mom was always there to comfort him with a mother's love.

Randy and his family moved around a lot due to his father being in the military. They would relocate often, only to return to California. He graduated from El Capitan High School in California in 1977. He worked for National Steel and Jim Richards Welding when he met his first wife who blessed him with 2 boys, Thomas and Ben Hart. Later, he would relocate to Texas where he took over the tire and lube at Walmart in Odessa. That is where he met the next love of his life, Barbara. They became the Walmart romance story. Barbara was a single mother who needed a brake job on her car, and if you knew Randy, he would help anyone. Barbara had a son, Matthew, who Randy would ultimately take under his wing to raise as one of his own. Barbara and Randy had their first date on May 7, 1995 and later married November 24, 1995. They had a miracle baby girl, Michelle, in 1997. At that time, they moved to Sundown where Randy did a couple different jobs until he got on with the City of Sundown. Randy worked with the City as well as serving as a council member for 14 years where he made many friends. Randy was a staple in the community due to his volunteer services, cooking and elaborate yard decorations for any season, especially his favorite, Halloween. Everyone will miss his humor and his pancakes.

Randy is preceded in death by his brother, Tom Hart in January 2019 and his mother, Mona Hart in December 2019.

He is survived by his father, Tom Hart of Abilene; his brother, Ken and Lynn Hart of Abilene; wife Barbara Hart of Sundown; children, Thomas and Jenni Hart of Las Cruces NM, Ben and Cynthia Hart of Sundown, Matthew and Kyndall Lemaire of Lubbock Kyle and Makayla Greenhaw of Lubbock and finally the chosen one, Michelle Hart of Lubbock; 12 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.

There will be a viewing at Krestridge Chapel in Levelland from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday, May 13. Services will be Friday, May 14 at 10am at Park Drive Baptist Church in Levelland. Interment will be at the Sundown cemetery following the services.

The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers and the many different donations we have received. Randy had a saying "it will all be alright, it has to, it has no choice". As a family we know that is true. Goodbye Dad until we meet again.

Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of the professionals at Krestridge Funeral Home.
