Judith Steadman Casey of Berryville, VA died at home in her sleep on August 19th, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by Pat G. Casey of Berryville, VA, loving husband of 49 years. In addition to raising her family, Judy spent her career as an administrative professional working for Multiple Listing Services and retired from Western Pest Control. She enjoyed collecting antiques, gardening, spending time with her grandchildren, and decorating for holidays. Additional surviving family members include a son, Shannon Casey of Leesburg, VA; Shannon's best friend, Paige Hill; a daughter, Melanie Casey Crovo of Roanoke, VA; a son-in-law, Martin Kelly Crovo, of Roanoke, VA; as well as Grandsons, Dylan Casey and Nolan Casey both of Leesburg, VA. She will also be mourned by her feline baby, Matilda. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, Robert E. Steadman and Geneva F. Steadman both of Leesburg, VA. A memorial service will be held 1:00 P. M. Friday, August 22, 2014 at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home Chapel, Berryville with Rev. Corky Shifflett officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 1:00 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.
