BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. — Kevin F. Thomas, 50, of Clarksburg, was taken home by the heavenly father on May 6, 2021.
He was born July 20, 1970, in Fort Eustis, VA, a son of Connie Hoffman Hawkins and her husband, Charles E. Hawkins, Sr. and his father, Robert R. Thomas.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy V. Reed Thomas, whom he married March 21, 2020. Kevin is also survived by six siblings, Michelle Ball, Michaela Johnson and her husband, Earl, Melissa Rogers and her husband, Rusty, Robert Thomas, Gene Hawkins and Michael Hawkins; two sons, Kurt Daniel Gibson and Cordel Lynn Gibson; three grandchildren, Jaxon, Madelynn and Rilynn Gibson; multiple nieces and nephews and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Wayne Thomas; a son, Devin Tyler Gibson; his grandparents, Willard F. and Freda Faye Hoffman and by his in-laws, Charles R. and Freda P. Reed.
Kevin was a self-employed contractor who loved fixing things. He had a passion for hunting and fishing and loved children. He had a very soft demeanor and a lot of love for everyone.
Private services will be held for the family.
